There needs to be a balance between not losing sight of who we were, and what our lost condition was before Jesus saved us, and who we are in Christ, and appreciate your input. For those that have been born again by His Spirit, we are made Sons and Daughters of God, and I've raised my children teaching them this balance. That they are deserving of Hell, but have been saved by Grace through Faith, and are princes and princesses, because our Heavenly Father is the King of Kings!Donhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07546750748775259199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8974429219716701289.post-48134987782838955082021-05-05T13:41:03.669-05:002021-05-05T13:41:03.669-05:00Hi Don, I appreciate this testimony about Isaac Wa...Hi Don, I appreciate this testimony about Isaac Watts' hymn. I have also looked up the scriptures where it is used and realise it is in fact biblical. I am however concerned that we can even become 'proud' of our own self flagellation, calling ourselves derogatory terms. Surely God made us in his image (which is not that of a worm)?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03281790227628160522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8974429219716701289.post-73523084353477970712017-09-25T16:56:16.110-05:002017-09-25T16:56:16.110-05:00i like dogs.i like dogs.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8974429219716701289.post-13329278003699609552017-02-06T07:43:03.604-06:002017-02-06T07:43:03.604-06:00Let's not get too Carried away by the words pe...Let's not get too Carried away by the words penned by issac watts. This is one more sign of watering down Christianity --its doctrine, its ritual, its ethical codes, and the songs that once represented it. When it ceased to be what it was, what it first promised will be no more.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8974429219716701289.post-17077170772277407102012-04-21T12:38:34.725-05:002012-04-21T12:38:34.725-05:00A friend's autocorrect inadvertantly referred ...A friend's autocorrect inadvertantly referred to me as a worm on Facebook.
